geocoordinate.site ("we", "the site") provides free, browser-based GIS and remote-sensing utilities. We respect your privacy and collect as little data as possible. This page explains what is and is not processed.

Data you enter into the tools

All conversions and calculations run entirely in your browser. Coordinates, files, GeoJSON and any other input you provide are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. We do not see, store, or transmit them.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage only to remember your theme preference (light/dark). This stays on your device and is not shared.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (e.g. page views). This does not identify individual users.

Advertising

This site may display ads served by third-party vendors, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party services

Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap. When you use a map-based tool, your browser requests tiles directly from their servers, which may log standard request data per their own policy.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
